Well what a fantastic event the Music-All-Youth singing competition final turned out to be.
Hat’s off to Tony for working so hard. His success was in the smooth running of the event and the staggering quality of the competition.
It was said many times on the day, but merit’s mention again, every single one of the singers was very good. The standard would have been fantastic for an adult’s competition, never mind that this event was targetted at under 18’s.
Many congratulations to Clara Byrne, the 13 year old who took the winning trophy. You have a fantastic future in front of you within the industry if you so desire it. Isi and I are really look forward to helping you record at Grange Farm Studio.
But really I couldn’t have done the judging that day as the competition was fierce. All of you competitors (and loyal parents/guardians) should take great pride and satisfaction in your performances and the professional way you acquitted yourselves throughout the day.
We would love to get the chance to meet and work with you again in the future.
